U.S. District Court

On Friday, April 12, 2019 we had the opportunity to visit U.S. District Court. We were fortunate to see part of a trial in Judge Jill Otake's courtroom and she spent some time with us after explaining the case and answering our questions. We also saw a presentation by the U.S. Marshall Service.
Ask your children why the potato chip bags were significant to our day!

Mock Trial

To prepare for our field trip to U.S. District Court we had a mock trial on Wednesday, April 11.
Thank you to all those who practice their roles at home so we could have a great trial!
At the end of the trial, our two juries came up with different opinions on the case.

Student Council Elections for 2019-2020

Several of our current Student Council Members were selected by their classes to run for Student Council Office. They all spoke in front of over 230 people and were so poised!
We are so proud of them all!

Mokuleia Beach Clean Up

On Saturday, February 23, we participated in a beach clean up hosted by 808 Cleanups. Those who were able to make it were amazed at how much trash we were able to help clean up. The organizer of the event said we had great group of workers so he was able to collect a lot more trash than usual. The students who attended are still talking about this! If families are interested in participating in other cleanups please visit the 808 Cleanups website for more information.

Olaloa Dance

On February 22, 2019 the Mililani Complex School's Student Councils organized a dance for the residents of the Olaloa Community. Our Officers did a great job visiting with some of the elderly members of our community and put smiles on their faces. Thank you to our Officers for representing our school well!

Pedestrian Safety Assembly

Speakers from Walkwise Hawaii shared safety information and lead our school in a Pedestrian Safety Pledge. Fifth grade Student Council Members and CPOs helped with the assembly and pledge.

Banner Signing

On Wednesday, February 20, our Mililani 'Ike family was invited to sign the Pedestrian Safety Banner to support our message of safety. Our banner was filled with signatures by the end of the week!
