Banner for our Cafeteria Staff

This week, Lilliana, Ryder, and Dylan completed the beautiful banner that all students will sign as we honor our School Lunch Heroes later this spring. These three fifth graders designed the artwork themselves and stayed after school to work together and bring their vision to life.

We truly appreciate the leadership, creativity, and responsibility they demonstrated throughout this project. Their teamwork and dedication are wonderful examples of ‘Ike Pride in action!

Spirt Store Helpers

Thank you to Jolie, Ryder and Micayla for their wonderful help at our Spirit Store last week! They did an outstanding job assisting students with their purchases — even when it got very busy. Their positive attitudes and willingness to jump in made a big difference. We truly couldn’t have done it without them!

We are so proud of the leadership and responsibility they showed while spreading ‘Ike Pride!

Student Council members — Jolie, Mari, Andi, MJ, Kayla, Azaylia, Addison, Betty, and Micayla — created beautiful Valentine’s Day cards for the clients of the Institute for Human Services. This marks the third year that our Mililani Complex schools have worked together to help brighten the day of more than 450 individuals who receive them.

Practice Time for Class Visits

This week, we spent time at our lunch meetings to prepare for our next round of classroom visits. Student Council Reps will be sharing information about Spirit Week to their classes and lower grad buddy classes. We are trying to improve with each visit to become better speakers and more engaging to our audience.

DREAM Night Training

On Friday, January 9, our Student Council Officers spent the evening participating in a complex-wide leadership training at Mililani High School. The purpose of the training was to re-energize our leaders for the second half of the school year while building new leadership skills.

Student Council members from all Mililani schools came together, including representatives from each elementary school and the middle school. The Mililani High School Student Council leaders planned and led the training, and they did a fabulous job creating an engaging and meaningful experience for everyone involved.

Projects, Projects and Projects

Thank you to the students who have been working on optional projects during recess and after school! Our current projects are: Pedestrian Safety Banner, Appreciation Posters for staff and Spirit Store video.
