Last 'Ike Pride Assembly for 2025-2026

On Wednesday, May 20, we held our final ‘Ike Pride Assembly of the school year. Throughout the year, Will, Jolie, Dylan, and Corbin did a fabulous job serving as our assembly emcees and leaders. Their confidence, enthusiasm, and teamwork helped make each assembly special and enjoyable for our school community.

We truly appreciate the extra time and effort they dedicated to practicing at home so they could lead each assembly in such a polished and professional manner. Mahalo to our Officers for their hard work, leadership, and commitment all year long!

Last All-SC Meeting for 2025-2026

On Wednesday, May 6, Student Council members gathered for their final all-SC meeting of the school year. It was a fun-filled afternoon that gave students a chance to relax, laugh, and celebrate their year together.

The meeting featured a special talent show where Andi, Betty, Azaylia, Ryusa, Colin, and Caleb K bravely shared their talents and skills with the group. Students also enjoyed two exciting games organized by the 5th grade boys, along with a tasty snack to end the day.

A thoughtful highlight of the meeting was when some of the 4th grade members presented special certificates to the departing 5th graders. Each certificate recognized the students’ unique talents, skills or positive character traits, making it a meaningful way to honor their contributions to Student Council. Before the meeting concluded, Student Council President Will also held a special pin presentation, helping make the final gathering a memorable way to close out the year together.

Fourth Quarter MHS Lunch

On Friday, May 1, our Student Council Treasurer, Corbin, represented the students of Mililani ʻIke at the Mililani High School Quarterly Lunch. This special event brings together representatives from schools across the Mililani Complex, along with community leaders, business partners, and elected officials, to share updates and celebrate the many accomplishments happening throughout our community.

Corbin attended the meeting with Mrs. Ajifu and did an outstanding job presenting updates about the exciting activities and achievements taking place at ʻIke. We are very proud of the confidence, leadership, and school spirit he demonstrated while representing our school community.

School Lunch Hero Day

Did you know there’s a day dedicated to celebrating our School Lunch Heroes? Earlier this year, our Student Council artists began creating a special banner filled with signatures and messages of appreciation, inviting the entire school to add their thanks.

On May 1, 2026, our fifth grade Student Council members met with the cafeteria staff to present the banner. Ryder wrote a heartfelt message of gratitude, which was shared by Will to make the moment even more meaningful. The banner now proudly hangs in the cafeteria as a reminder of how much we appreciate all that our lunch heroes do for our school community.

Principal Appreciation Day

On May 1, we celebrated School Principal’s Day by honoring our hardworking and dedicated principal, Mrs. Ajifu. The Student Council organized a special surprise, presenting her with a heartfelt message of appreciation and a beautifully decorated poster signed by students.

A big thank you to Betty and Addison for creating the poster and inviting everyone to share their messages, and to Jolie for delivering kind words on behalf of the Student Council. We are grateful for Mrs. Ajifu’s leadership and all she does for our school community!

Olaloa Community Dance

On Friday, April 17, the Mililani Complex Student Council Officers hosted a special day of fun and connection for the residents of the Olaloa Retirement Community. The event featured a variety of engaging activities, including games, crafts, music, dancing, and shared refreshments, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere for everyone involved.

It was truly heartwarming to see the genuine care and enthusiasm our Officers brought to the experience. They took the time to talk story, laugh, and build meaningful connections with the seniors, showing kindness, respect, and a strong sense of community. This annual event highlights the importance of service and remind us all of the value of bringing generations together.
