Project Leaders

A big thank you to Kayla and Andi for taking on the role of Project Leaders in addition to their Classroom Representative responsibilities! As second-year Student Council members, they will be leading groups of students in many of our art projects throughout the school year.

They are already hard at work creating a special Custodian Appreciation poster for National Custodian Day in October. We appreciate Kayla and Andi for sharing their creativity, leadership, and artistic talents with our Student Council!

Complex Officer Training

On Thursday, August 20, our Student Council Officers—Luke, Colin, Aiden, and Mari—attended the Mililani Complex Leadership Training at Mililani Waena Elementary School.

The training was designed to prepare our young leaders for their leadership roles and responsibilities at ‘Ike this school year. Mililani High School student leaders planned a fun and inspiring day filled with engaging activities and meaningful lessons for elementary and middle school student leaders.

Our students had the opportunity to make new friends from schools throughout the Mililani complex and reconnect with former ‘Ike students who are now attending middle and high school. We are excited to see how they will use what they learned to make a positive difference at our school this year!

Thank you to a Community Member

A generous community member recently made a donation to our school PTO. To express our appreciation, the PTO prepared a thank-you note and requested a special piece of student artwork to accompany it. Kayla volunteered without hesitation and created this beautiful artwork.

Thank you, Kayla, for sharing your creativity and talent and helping us show our heartfelt appreciation!

Aloha 5th Graders!

This year’s 5th grade Student Council members were truly a special group. Among them were five students who dedicated three of their years at ‘Ike to Student Council, along with several others who served for two years. We also welcomed two students who joined Student Council during their very first year at ‘Ike.

The combination of experienced leaders, fresh ideas, positive energy, and enthusiasm helped make this group unique and memorable. Their leadership, teamwork, and school spirit made a positive impact on our school community and helped create many wonderful memories throughout the year.

We are so proud of all of our 5th grade Student Council members and grateful for the contributions they made during their time at ‘Ike. We wish them a fun, relaxing, and well-deserved summer as they prepare for their next adventure beyond ‘Ike!

Last 'Ike Pride Assembly for 2025-2026

On Wednesday, May 20, we held our final ‘Ike Pride Assembly of the school year. Throughout the year, Will, Jolie, Dylan, and Corbin did a fabulous job serving as our assembly emcees and leaders. Their confidence, enthusiasm, and teamwork helped make each assembly special and enjoyable for our school community.

We truly appreciate the extra time and effort they dedicated to practicing at home so they could lead each assembly in such a polished and professional manner. Mahalo to our Officers for their hard work, leadership, and commitment all year long!

Induction Ceremony for 2026-2027

On Wednesday, May 19, our newly elected Student Council Officers were officially sworn into office for the upcoming school year. Mrs. Ajifu and our current officers also took part in the special ceremony as they welcomed and inducted the new officers into their leadership positions.

We are proud to congratulate our current Student Council members who will continue serving as officers next year: Mari, Luke, and Colin! We look forward to seeing all of our new officers grow as leaders and continue making a positive impact on our school community.
