Families,

Thank you for your support of our Spirit Week activities this week. I know it's been a busy week for many of you!

A few reminders for the remainder of this week and next:

Friday, 1/31 - HI-5 Recycling Drive 7:00 a.m.-7:50 - All SC Members are asked to help the morning of our recycling collection. Drop off your backpacks in the SC office and meet by the flag pole to help us collect and sort the HI-5 donations. If possible, please arrive by 7:15 am. For those who can get there earlier, that would be a great help!

Wednesday, 2/5 - Student Council Meeting 12:50 - 1:45 pm, TB3.

Thursday, 2/6 - SCC Meeting 6:30 pm - for Ardyn only

Spirit Store Opening!

Thank you to our Student Council Members who have worked this week at the opening of our Spirit Store. Everyone will have a chance to work at our store by the end of February!

January 22 Sign Waving

Thank you to those who were able to make signs or stay after school on Wednesday to promote safety around our school. Also, a special thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Young who provided our sign-wavers with Jamba Juice after their duties!

Spirit Store Morning Workers Confirmed

The following 6 Student Council  Members have been confirmed to work at our Spirit Store on 1/28 and 1/29 from 7:10 am-7:50 am:

January 22 Sign Waving

Thank you to the following students who will participate in sign waving for pedestrian and traffic safety: Ardyn, Tanner, Bryleigh, Malia, Tyler, Kayden, Kyrie, Max and Daniel.
Students will be asked to leave class about 10 minutes and we should be done at about 1:45 pm.

Here are some reminders as we start off the new year:

1/10 - Canned Food Drive Wrap -Up Committee lunch meeting for: Ardyn, Daniel, Nigel, Richelle, Malia, Henry, Tyler and Mia

1/14 - 3rd grade lunch meeting (prepare for class visits, planner cover voting)
1/15 - 4th grade lunch meeting (prepare for class visits, planner cover voting)
1/15 - Monthly SC Meeting 12:50 p.m. (changed from 1/8)
1/17 - 5th grade lunch meeting  (prepare for class visits)

January will be a busy month as prepare for Spirit Week (1/27-31), our Spirit Store opening (1/28) and the HI-5 Recycling Drive (1/31).

For those who are interested in helping with box top cutting, we will continue with that during first recesses until 1/24.
