Fourth Grade Lunch and Thank You Notes

Our Fourth Graders always have a lot of fun during our lunch meetings! They also are hard workers! After our visit to U.S. District Court some of them created thank you notes for each of the speakers who met with us. Thank you 4th graders!  

Fifth Grade Lunch Meetings

One of the last projects the fifth graders worked on was to plan an obstacle course and play a fun unwrapping game for our last SC meeting. All our fifth graders are great leaders and we can't wait to see what the future holds for them!  

 

Castle & Cooke Appreciation

 Student Council Members were featured in a thank you to Castle and Cooke for the donation made to our school.

SC Elections for 2023-24

Congratulations to Samuel, Wes, Elle, Lia, Anna and Aria who represented their classes in the SC Election for next school year! They all did a great job and plan on  continuing to develop their leadership skills!

U.S. District Court

 On March 30, 2023 we went on a field trip to U.S. District Court. The SC Members were treated to presentations by Judge Jill Otake, U.S. Probation Office, U.S. Attorney's Office, Office of the Federal Public Defender and U.S. Marshals Service. The two things the students enjoyed most were pounding the judge's gavel and seeing the holding cell! It was a great experience for all! 

The Paper Clip Game

 To prepare for our field trip to U.S. District Court, we played a game without rules called the Paper Clip Game. This helped us to imagine a world without laws and why having societal rules and expectations are important. 

March SCC Meeting
