Mililani Complex Service Project

The Mililani Complex Student Councils worked together to put on a dance for the Olaloa Retirement Community. The purpose of the activity was to help the elderly of our community have an enjoyable time getting to know some of the young people from the Mililani schools. Our Officers represented our school well by preparing a mixer game, an energizer and dancing with the residents. A good time was had by all who attended!

Character Counts Celebration Memo

Student Council Members attending the Character Counts Celebration on Saturday, February 23, should have received a memo sent out last week which shows their work schedule at the event and other information. Please contact me if you have any questions.

Display Case Committee

Our Display Case Committee (Reese, Tyson, Trent, Rianna, Kaitlyn and Auli'i) has been working hard to update our glass display cases upstairs in the E building. The Committee has met several times with Mrs. Sameshima who helped us create the boards which shows our various school extra-curricular activities.

On Friday, Reese, Trent and Rianna met to place the finished boards into the display cases.

Thank you to the committee members who met during lunch and recess to complete this project!

February Meeting

At our February Student Council Meeting we had a leadership lesson on appreciation. We learned why good leaders show appreciation to others and I asked them to try it at home! We also played a human bingo game and the students had a great time getting to know each other a little more.

Spirit Week - Crazy Mix-Match Day

Spirit Week ended with Crazy Mix-Match Day. Thank you to all the SC members who made Spirit Week a success by visiting classrooms and promoting school pride through their participation!

Opening of our 'Ike Spirit Store

The Student Council opened our Spirit Store to 'Ike families on January 17th. Earlier this school year,  SC Members voted on the items to sell in the store. Faith and Megan made beautiful, eye-catching signs for our store and all SC members will take turns working at the store this quarter. The purpose of our Spirit Store is to promote school spirit and pride and we think it has been a great success so far!

Spirit Week - Wacky Hair Day

This year, our Student Council chose to kick off Spirit Week with Wacky Hair Day. Students had fun showing off their crazy hair-dos!
