All student council members have been meeting regularly to discuss needs in our community. 

Our fifth graders would like to do something to help with pedestrian safety. We will be continuing our discussion in future weeks and will eventually decide on a project to help with this problem.

Junior Judges Program

At our November Student Council meeting we had a guest speaker from the Hawaii Bar Association present the Junior Judges Program. We talked about situations that students may encounter and how to make good decisions.

Collection for the Institute of Human Services

Mililani 'Ike along with the other Mililani schools participated in a collection for the Institute for Human Services on October 5. Student Council Members helped to collect household items, toiletries, food and clothing for those in need. IHS is so grateful for the generous donations from our Mililani Community!

First Quarter 'Ike Pride Assembly

The Officers did a great job at our first 'Ike Pride Assembly of the school year! They practiced at home and during lunch for two weeks prior to the assembly.

Mililani High School Homecoming Parade

Thank you to those who were able to join us for the MHS Homecoming Parade on Saturday, September 15, 2018! Our Student Council, CPOs and Hype did a great job representing our school and showing our community and 'Ike Pride. Special thanks to Mrs. Ueyama, Mrs. Needles and Mrs. Torres for marching in the parade with us! 

Officer Training

Our Officers kicked off the school year with a training attended by SC Officers from all Mililani Complex Schools. The training included motivational talks by State Representatives Lauren Cheape Matsumoto and Ryan Yamane. The students learned leadership lessons from our high school mentors and each Officer learned more about their individual roles and experienced how a SC meeting should be conducted. Of course there was some fun with ice breakers, energizers, team building activities and delicious snacks and lunch!
