Fall Parade

Thank you to Kelsey for emceeing the Fall Parade this year! Also, thank you to Alex, Jayci, Emiko, Constantine and Alexander for leading the grade levels during the parade. It was a fun event!

Third Grade Student Council Members

At our grade lunch meetings this week we did some preliminary planning for Spirit Week. Can't wait for the exciting week in January!

Cafeteria Staff Appreciation

On behalf of all Mililani 'Ike Students, Student Council Members expressed appreciation for our Cafeteria staff that works hard to prepare meals for us every school day!

October Student Council Meeting

At our October Student Council Meeting we had a leadership lesson on caring and service which is an important goal of the Student Council. We also had fun doing energizer and got to know each other a little better doing the 3 statements activity!

First Quarter 'Ike Pride Assembly

The Student Council Officers did a great job at our first assembly for the school year!

Collection for the Institue of Human Services

On October 3, 2017 Mililani 'Ike donated clothing, food and toiletries to the Institute of Human Services. Thank you to our Student Council Members who shared information about this service project with their classes and came out to help with the collection! Mahalo to Mrs. Yoshikawa and Mrs. Cramer for helping with  the collection and organizing the donations for pick up.

Mililani High School Homecoming Parade

   Student Council Members, CPOs and Hype represented our school at the Mililani High School Homecoming Parade on September 30.
   Thank you to those who were able to spend part of your morning with us! Special thanks to Mrs. Yoshikawa and Mrs. Sonona for marching in the parade and spraying water on us to keep us cool!

Mililani Complex Leadership Training

On August 17, our Officers attended a training that included SC Officers from all Mililani Complex Schools. The training included leadership lessons from our high school mentors and each Officer learned more about their individual roles and experienced how a SC meeting should be conducted. Of course there was some fun with ice breakers, energizers and delicious snacks and lunch!

2017 - 2018

Our new Officers, Alexander, Tysen, Constantine and Sakura started off the school year by meeting to decide on our activities and service projects for the new school year. We also had fun getting to know each other!

Memorial Day Lei Collection

We ended the school year with a Memorial Day Lei Collection to honor our service members. As usual, our 'Ike families gave generously! Thank you to Mrs. Cramer who delivered the lei to the fire station!

Shake the Sheet

Student Council members participated in the Shake the Sheet activity.  The purpose of the activity was to show that great things happen when we work together in groups.

SC Meeting Energizers

Our Officers lead us in energizers at our April Student Council Meeting.  It's always a fun part of our meetings!

Fun at Ice Palace!

Student Council, Hui Na Lamaku and Campus Police Officers serve our school and community throughout the year. On March 30, 2017 they had a day of fun the Ice Palace! It was a day of smiles on the bus ride,  skating (or trying to!) and just enjoying time with friends.

Field Trip to the U.S. District Court

The Student Council Members had a very educational field trip to United States District Court on March 3, 2017. Our visit included:

• Remarks by Judge Leslie E. Kobayashi which included an overview of the hearing we observed and followed by questions and answers
• Observation of Judge Derrick K. Watson's hearing
• Presentation by U.S. Pretrial Services Office
• Presentation and tour by U.S. Marshals Service (included holding cell, elevator and transport vehicle)

Our students asked great questions and represented 'Ike well!
