Mr. Jeffrey Hu from the Young Lawyers Division of the Hawaii State Bar Association presented the Junior Judges Program to our group on October 26, 2016. During the presentation we discussed how to make good decisions on a variety of topics such as cheating, stealing, teasing and bullying. We also talked about WHY it's important to make good decisions. It was a very lively discussion!

Character Counts Celebration
On Saturday October 22, Student Council Members worked in shifts to work at our school booth at the Character Counts Celebration. Our students were great helpers to the children playing our game and represented our school well!

Custodial Staff Appreciation
The Student Council showed their appreciation to our hard working school custodial staff on October 7th. CJ spoke on behalf of the Student Council and expressed appreciation for the efforts by the custodians to make our school clean, safe and beautiful!

IHS Collection
Student Council Members did a great job collecting and sorting the donations at the IHS Collection. Thank you to everyone who woke up a little early to help at the collection!
Speaker from The Institute for Human Services
Mrs. Liza Lee from the Institute of Human Services spoke to students during lunch about what IHS does for their clients and how our donations will help. She also spoke to our students about the challenges that homeless children face.
