Thank you to Betty, Azaylia, and Nicolas for giving up their recess time to create appreciation posters for our staff members. These thoughtful posters will be shared during the second half of the school year in celebration of Counselor’s Week, Vice Principal’s Day, and Principal’s Day. We truly appreciate the dedication and commitment these students showed by working on this project over several weeks. Their caring and hard work help make our school community a special place.

Toys for Tots Collection 2025
We had another successful Toys for Tots collection! Our ‘Ike ʻOhana truly came through—donating 10 big boxes of new toys that will help bring joy and surprise to children in need this Christmas. A big mahalo to our Student Council members for visiting classrooms to encourage participation and for helping with the collection. Your teamwork and enthusiasm made a difference!
'Ike Gear Collection
Thank you to Andi and Mari for collecting ‘Ike Gear orders from our families on November 24–26. We appreciate their dedication, early-morning commitment, and their infectious enthusiasm throughout the process. A special mahalo as well to Andi’s mom, Mrs. Matsumoto, for generously assisting with the collection!

Operation Holiday Joy
On Thursday, November 6, 2025, our Student Council members collected and sorted donations for Operation Holiday Joy. These generous contributions will be made into beautiful holiday baskets by the Armed Services YMCA and shared with local military families in need. We’re so grateful to our Student Council members (and their parents) who woke up early to help with the collection — your kindness and dedication truly make a difference!
808 Cleanups
At our Student Council meeting on November 6, we welcomed a special guest speaker from 808 Clean Ups. Madison Cahill shared the organization’s mission, spoke about the importance of advocacy, and inspired us with ideas on how we can make a difference. Our Student Council members truly enjoyed the presentation, and we plan to organize a beach or park clean-up before the end of the school year.
